A truly delightful little cinema – one, small screen, clean, comfortable and quiet. Curzon is renowned for showing a real variety of entertainment, from blockbuster films to opera to arthouse cinema to live concerts. The tickets are reasonably priced, there is a good selection of food and drink and watching a film here is a far nicer experience than visiting a large multiplex venue.
It is easy walking distance from Knutsford town centre and has its own accessible parking, behind the Shell petrol station next to the cinema.

Knutsford is a small town with an interesting history. The Heritage Centre, set in amongst the hub of shops and cafes in a reconstructed 17th century timber framed building, is the perfect place to learn about this lovely part of Cheshire. Tucked down a narrow cobbled passageway, you’ll be surprised to find it has galleries, beautifully maintained gardens, a gift shop, exhibitions, demonstrations, guided walks, talks and activities. It is also home to the Knutsford Millennium Tapestry – a 13 meter long piece of work created by over 3,000 local residents to commemorate the town in the millennium year.
Opening times: (April to September) Tuesday – Saturday 11am – 4pm, Sunday and Bank Holidays 2pm – 5pm (October – March) Tuesday – Saturday 11am – 4pm.

Jodrell Bank is so much more than just (just!) the incredible Lovell telescope – all 3,200 tonnes of it! The telescope is a familiar feature of the Cheshire landscape, probably because of its mammoth size and its eye-catching white bowl, but the discovery centre also has its own planet, space and star pavilions, gardens and grounds to wander around and café to relax in. Let the universe baffle you and come away awed.
Opening times: Monday – Sunday: 10am – 5pm.
